Application scenarios in the sand washing industry
The mud water from the sand washing plant is a suspended liquid containing a certain amount of fine mud particles in the water. The characteristics of the mud depend on its composition and are related to the local geological conditions. The general characteristics are that the mud has a soil yellow appearance, is uniform and sticky, remains stationary for a long time without layering, and has a specific gravity between 1.20 and 1.46 (with a specific gravity of 1.6 for yellow sand); Mud content: 20%~30%, pH value: 6-7. These muds come from construction pile driving, sand fields, tunnel caves, mining tailings, etc. At present, the process flow of sand machine sand is to crush river sand or ore through crushing machinery, wash the sand and stones through sand washing equipment, and obtain fine sand with less mud content. This process generates a large amount of wastewater, with the main pollutants being sediment, in which sludge is suspended in water and difficult to settle. Direct discharge causes serious water pollution. The sedimentation tank method currently used in the industry takes up a large area, takes a long time to process, and is difficult to extract sediment. The tank truck transportation method is expensive and cannot fundamentally solve the problem. In recent years, most of them have adopted this process system for mud water collection and sedimentation tanks, secondary sedimentation tanks, clear liquid tanks, mud and sand separation systems, dosing systems, drainage systems, and slag discharge systems.
The working principle is that the mud water is collected through pipelines and flows into the sedimentation tank. It is pretreated by a mud dewatering machine to remove most of the fine sand and some of the mud in the mud water. The filtrate enters the secondary sedimentation tank through the drainage system. The mud water in the secondary sedimentation tank is suspended mud with a small specific gravity difference from water, and requires flocculant treatment. After being treated by a dewatering machine, the mud water has a mud and sand removal rate of over 95%. The water in the clear liquid tank can directly return to the sand washing system, truly achieving zero discharge.
